Complete the pinecone assignment in Google classroom. When you are in Google classroom click on the pinecone link, read the information and scroll down to page 6 to answer questions 1-4.

Go to Google Classroom for the link for your homework. Complete steps 1-4 on the document on loose leaf paper. Read all the information carefully, it will help you answer the questions. The last page of the document is an extra resource.

Week of March 23rd: Most of you finished all this while we were working on it except the Ancient Greek Vase Exhibit, but I'm including a list of everything just in case you didn't complete something. :)

Spiral Time Sheet--Look at the arcs you drew in class with a compass.  If you think they need improving, use a compass to do so.
Fibonacci Numbers Sheet-- Study the handout.  Answer the following question:  What do you notice about Fibonacci numbers compared to our standard numbers?  (answer on a piece of notebook paper)
Moment of Genius
Leonardo Pisa --  Find 5 things about this mathematician and what he contributed. 
Communications
Finish etching your vase and complete the ancient Greek vase exhibit that will go in the hall way - be creative, must have some color on the border.

STRIDE Selfie Project
StRIDE Students, This is your first chance to show us your creativity and tell us more about you.


Your task: Complete a selfie album that answers/reflects the answers to the following questions.


1. Your full name and birthdate. If you were named after someone it would be nice to know who and why. A picture of yourself (Your picture should be on the cover of your album along with your name and birthdate).


2. Family life - share your family with us. If you can, include a picture.


3. Tell about your hobbies, you may draw or include pictures.


4.  Tell about your learning style. Also tell what you like best/least in a teacher/learning environment.


5.  Goal setting is very important. Tell about some of your goals, academic and personal and how you are going to reach them. Also include what college you want to attend.  If you are interested in several colleges, list them all.

6.  Are you involved in community service of any type, if so please share. If not would you like to be involved in helping the community? Also share any other fun facts or important details about your life.
